SAFETY

Our escalators and passenger conveyors are designed with a double sided guidance system that ensures the stability of the step while maintaining the gap between the steps and the skirt at the minimum constant. In addition, the inner skirts are fitted with skirt deflectors, which minimise the risk of trapping. The escalators and passenger conveyors are also fitted with numerous safety switches which ensures safe and reliable operation.

PASSENGER COMFORT

The escalators and passenger conveyors incorporate a technologically advanced geared system to ensure the smoothness and quietness of the ride as well as the overall passenger comfort while in operation. The two different step runs available, also ensures that the passengers enter and exit the escalator and passenger conveyors with ease.

MECHANICAL DURABILITY

All the mechanical components have been carefully designed to ensure reliability of the equipment in the demanding working environments that the overall unit is subjected to. Special attention has been paid to the step guidance system and continuous step axles to ensure smooth running and durability.

ECONOMIC OPERATION

With the four different running modes available, the ultimate energy saving mode can be implemented to ensure that the unit runs as efficiently as possible. This can allow for up to a 30% reduction in power usage, thus ensuring economic operation.

DESIGN INTEGRATION

A wide variety of materials and colours are offered for all the visible elements of the escalators and passenger conveyors. These include the handrail, balustrade, steps, floor plates, skirts and cladding. This along with the stylish handrail entry system, and skirting lighting options, allow for streamlined integration with the overall design of the project.
